The technique of jiu-jitsu focusses on a holistic approach of grappling. Guerilla
jiu-jitsu classes combine the techniques and concepts from brazilian
jiu-jitsu, judo, wrestling, and self-defense.
Guerilla jiu-jitsu is designed to equalize the size disparity of opponents, and in our
classes you will learn primarily a non-striking art that provides the practitioner the tools to defend him or herself against opponents of all sizes.

Weigh-ins will start at 7am for kids and end at 9:45am.
Weigh-ins will start at 7am for adults and end at 11am.
All kids brackets will start promptly at 10:15am
Adults brackets will start at Noon.
Please note there will be a $5 spectator fee. No fee for parents or kids 8 and under.
Jiu-Jitsu Grand Prix 2013, December 7th.
We will have prizes for the “sickest submission award” for both the kids and the adults bracket, as well as a Shoyoroll GI prize to the winner of the Purple belt open, a Shoyoroll rashguard and shorts for the NOGI division, and a swag pack from Comme De Grappler for the winner of the Brown Belt Open division.
There will be a lot of exciting matches, good food, and Acai Bowls from Vitality Bowl in Pleasanton.
Register early before November 25th to get the discounted competitor price – $40. ¬†Late registration is open till December 1st for $60. ¬†For all males 18 and over, you can also register for the NOGI open for an additional $25 (early registration) or $35 (late registration).
