In Dave Camarillo school of jiu-jitsu, you will learn to employ the opponent's force than using your own force to confront it.
The technique of jiu-jitsu focusses on a holistic approach of grappling. Guerilla
jiu-jitsu classes combine the techniques and concepts from brazilian
jiu-jitsu, judo, wrestling, and self-defense.
Guerilla jiu-jitsu is designed to equalize the size disparity of opponents, and in our
classes you will learn primarily a non-striking art that provides the practitioner the tools to defend him or herself against opponents of all sizes.

***ALL COMPETITORS MUST HAVE A VALID ID TO COMPETE*** Parents please bring a copy of Birthday Certificate for your child or a school ID.
Weigh-ins will start at 7:30am for all competitors.
Kids weigh-ins ends at 9:30am.
Adult weigh-ins end at 12:00pm.
Open division competitors do not need to weigh-in, however, you will still need to check-in with valid ID.
Kids and Teens brackets will start at 10am.
Adult brackets will start at 1pm.
We are going to be doing a double elimination this tournament so all competitors will be guaranteed at least 2 matches. We do our best to run on time and you can help by listening for your name when called to your mat area and to the podium for medals.
ALL COMPETITORS need to be on the mat at 9:45am to go over a quick rules meeting.
